Jay Wheeler first urban artist to accompany Benito on the Main Stage
Miami, FL (September 8, 2025) – On Saturday night, renowned Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Jay Wheeler experienced one of the most anticipated and pivotal moments of his career by joining Bad Bunny as a special guest on the historic residency, No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí, at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseo de Puerto Rico.
A self-proclaimed “Benito” fan, Wheeler fulfilled one of his biggest dreams by singing alongside one of his idols on the main stage. Penned the genre’s “Favorite Voice”, he surprised the sold-out audience with a performance of “Si Estuviésemos Juntos” (If We Were Together), “Solo de Mí’ (Only from Me), and an acoustic version of his global hit “La Curiosidad (Curiosity), and in front of an already euphoric audience, performed alongside Bad Bunny and emotional version of “Turista”, featured on Bad Bunny’s recent album “Debi Tirar Mas Fotos”.
Set under the Bad Bunny residency’s main stage’s iconic “flamboyan” tree, Wheeler was the first urban artist to accompany Benito on the main stage for an unforgettable performance.
The iconic performance serves as a prelude to Wheeler’s awaited return to the Coliseo de Puerto Rico on October 17 and 18, 2025. The show will bring to life his latest album, Girasoles, and will mark the artist’s return to Puerto Rico in over a year.
