Miami, FL. (October 18, 2024) – After a break from touring due to the birth of his firstborn, global sensation Jay Wheeler resumed the second leg of his successful “TRAPPii Tour” in the U.S. before thousands of fans at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago. With a euphoric audience that longed for his triumphant return to the world stage, Jay Wheeler offered a show full of emotions, where the energy of the fans and the romanticism that characterizes him connected from the very first note.
Inspired by his 2023 landmark album and short film, “TRAPPii,” Wheeler took fans on an unprecedented 2-hour musical journey. Accompanied by a production team, crew, and dancers totaling 55 people, Wheeler kicked off the evening with the first of three acts, powered by the song “TRAPPii”, followed by multiple Trap-inspired hits, including “Throwback” and “Repeat.” Conceptually set up as a musical, between the second and third acts he performed his newest hits, “Duele” and “Te Soñé”, as well as the fan anthem “Historia”, “Textos Fríos” and “Maquillaje”, which are part of his heralded seventh studio album “Música Buena Para Días Malos”. As the evening neared its end, thousands of fans joined Wheeler singing his GLOBAL HITS “La Curiosidad” and “Pacto”.
Kicking off in June with a SOLD-OUT show at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the TRAPPii Tour has scored multiple SOLD-OUT dates, with tickets highly in demand across 25 cities. Now in its second leg, Wheeler will visit Miami, FL on October 20, Duluth, GA on October 24, Los Angeles, CA on October 25, Houston, TX on October 26 and Austin, TX on October 27.
