Miami, FL (March 14, 2024) – Last night, Pedro Tovar, lead singer of the chart-shattering Regional Mexican Group, Eslabon Armado, received the “Regional Mexican Song of the Year” Award, honoring the songwriting behind the group’s smash hit “Ella Baila Sola”, at the 2024 BMI Latin Awards. This accolade honors the exceptional songwriting behind the track, which was written solely by Pedro Tovar, lead singer of Eslabon Armado.
In addition, “Ella Baila Sola,” released via DEL Records, was also honored for being in the Top 50 Most Played Latin Songs of the Year. To cap off the stellar evening, Eslabon Armado delivered an electrifying performance of their award-winning track, leaving audiences spellbound with their captivating stage presence. The 2024 BMI Latin Awards took place on March 13, 2024 at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
Eslabon Armado has had a monumental streak with the success of their BMI Award-winning tracking “Ella Baila Sola”. The group became the first ever Musica Mexicana group to go No. 1 on Billboard’s Global 200, and was also crowned the Latin Song of the Year by Billboard, and Best Song of 2023 by Rolling Stone. The track is the most streamed Latin Song of 2023 on Spotify, and was the undoubtable catalyst to Musica Mexicana’s continuous reign on the global charts.
