In 24 hours, and record breaking time, Gloria Trevi brings forward her first show of her tour, #IslaDivinaWorldTour, in the United States with great success Puerto Rico
In coming weeks, Gloria Trevi will visit over 40 cities across the U.S. sharing her #IslaDivinaWorldTour experience with fans
Miami, FL. (August 15, 2022) – Thousands of fans gathered last night at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot to enjoy and sing along to Trevi’s biggest hits! For over two hours, Gloria sent the crowd of thousands to a euphoric state with some of her most iconic tracks, including “Todos Me Miran”, “Pelo Suelto”, “Con los Ojos Cerrados” and her most recent “Grande”, “Nos Volvimos Locos” and “Sube”.
Accompanied by 5 musicians, 2 back-up singers and 4 dancers, all from Puerto Rico, Gloria Trevi thanked the enthusiasm with which the show was put on in less than 24 hours, despite finding herself in the middle of the storm. Due to delays at the U.S. embassy in Mexico, the approved visas were not issued on time for the entire crew, including lighting technicians, costume designers, musicians and dancers, among others. The issue is resolved and has only affected the show in Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico showed their devotion to the artist and crew and surrendered to applause, chanting Gloria’s name, after she revealed the 24-hour ordeal leading into her opening night and avoiding a cancellation.
Opening night of the U.S. tour in Puerto Rico was not only full of surprises but also was witness to pure love. Without a doubt, anything can happen at Gloria’s “Isla Divina”. In a special moment, Juan Figueroa, a Trevi fan since the age of 11, was surprised by his partner Luis Morales when he asked for his hand in marriage on stage.
The massive 43-stop “Isla Divina” World Tour will continue in Laredo, TX on August 19 at Sames Auto Arena and Hidalgo, TX at Payne Arena on August 20. With an unprecedented show, the highly anticipated U.S. tour is produced by Live Nation, Great Talent Entertainment and Latino Live.
