Miami, FL (November 6, 2018) – Manager Walter Kolm, Founder/President of WK Entertainment has been named Executive of the Year by Billboard magazine as part of the Latin Power Players 2018 list in the November 3rd edition of the magazine.



The former President at Universal Music Latino, Kolm left the label in 2011 to start his own management firm and founded WK Entertainment in 2012, which is now the largest US-headquartered management/artist services company dedicated to Latin acts, with 20 full-time professionals on staff and an all-star artist roster that includes: Maluma, Carlos Vives, Wisin, CNCO, and Silvestre Dangond. WK Entertainment will close 2018 with a 40% increase in gross revenue over 2017 underscoring that this is just the beginning as Kolm continues to build on his the Latin music industry empire.

And on top of the accolades for an amazing career, Kolm received lots of love from his artists and industry colleagues in the Latin Power Players 2018 edition of Billboard which was replete with congratulatory ads. Among them were full-page ads from Carlos Vives, Maluma, Wisin, Sony Music, the American Airlines Arena, Simon Cowell/SYCO Entertainment, Lauria, 2PK Entertainment.

Billboard celebrated its first-ever Latin Power Players event in Miami, Fla. on Thursday night (Nov. 1) at the W Hotel in South Beach, honoring Walter Kolm and some of the top-notch executives in the Latin music business.
