Miami, FL (October, 18th 2019)- Dominating the world’s top charts with “Con Calma” (The Most Watched Video in 2019), today, Global Music Icon, Daddy Yankee drops a surprise new single and video “QTP” (Que Tire Pa’lante). Tonight Daddy Yankee premiered “QTP” live for it’s first-ever performance at the Latin American Music Awards broadcast on Telemundo. The new smash is available now on all digital retailers and streaming partners via Cartel Records.
“QTP” is a dancehall uptempo reggaeton track. “I wanted to bring my fans to a retro reggaeton, while bringing also the new sound of the urban music”, said the King of Reggaeton Daddy Yankee. The track is written by Raymond Ayala (Daddy Yankee), and produced by Urba & Rome.
Daddy Yankee also unveils today the track’s official music video, shot in Los Angeles by previous collaborator Marlon Peña [Con Calma]. It’s a fresh and cool video for fans of all ages to enjoy. The video brings over 60 dancers in dancing battles, warehouse setting, and choreography, which will inspired numerous dance routines.
Greg Chapkis, who also choreographed Yankee’s viral hit “Con Calma,” has done it once again. Integrating separate dance groups from various cultures, Chapkis creates the ultimate dance battle that no one wants to miss. Each group enters the battle ring, and shows Yankee exactly what they’re made of.
Year after year, Daddy Yankee has not strayed form leading the charts with his most viral videos. From the success of Shaky Shaky, to the smash hit of Despacito, with most views in YouTube history, & Con Calma, “QTP” will be no stranger to the top of the charts.
