Since 2006, De La Ghetto, also known as De La Geezy, has made a mark in Reggaeton and has been a leader of the genre’s revival by collaborating with A-list artists as well as releasing his own mixtapes and albums. In 2018 alone, he guested on no less than 24 singles and albums and dropped more than a dozen singles under his own name, including the release of his third album, “Mi Movimiento,” which debuted #1 on the “Latin Album Sales” and Top 5 on the “Top Latin Albums” charts on Billboard in the United States. “Mi Movimiento” included hits such as “Caliente” feat. J Balvin, “Recuerdo”, “Todo El Amor” feat. Maluma and Wisin, and “Como Ella Baila.” One of the album’s lead singles, “La Formula” feat. Daddy Yankee, Ozuna and Chris Jeday, has surpassed more than 235 million views on YouTube and over 99 million streams on Spotify. In total, the album received more than 316 million views on YouTube featuring other star collaborations with artists Fetty Wap, Plan B, Flo Rida and Zion y Lennox.
“Give Me More” is a rhythmic dance track which includes three different versions, with the primary one performed in Korean, English and Spanish, the second performed entirely in Spanish and English, and the final version featuring a special remix by Play-N-Skillz. The tropical music video, filmed in Bohol, Philippines, features the K-pop group and Reggaeton star dancing on the beach while singing about romance in paradise.
Next month, De La Ghetto is set to release his first single from his highly-anticipated fourth album.
