Mayna Nevarez / Chief Executive Officer
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and a graduate in Communications from La Universidad Sagrado Corazon, this young entrepreneur specializes in publicity for the entertainment and Corporate Industries. With over 14 years experience, Mayna broke out as Publicity Manager for the international record label, BMG US LATIN where she worked six years collaborating with then-beginning artists like Pablo Montero and Alexandre Pires. Her immense passion would lead her to eventually team up with established artists like Juan Gabriel, Christina Aguilera and Diego Torres. From her humble beginnings editing the teen section of Puerto Rico’s most read newspaper, El Nuevo Diaz, to lead editor of Teen Magazine en Espanola, she has now decided to treat her own path.
Throughout the last two years, she has taken charge of her own PR Firm, which has spearheaded marketing for the tribute concert Viva Puente, Ford Champions of the Community and the 2004 Ford PGA Tour at Doral. She has overseen individual publicity for the multifaceted Lucy Pereda, as well as the #1 selling reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee and the urban duo, Angel y Khriz.
Among her list of clients: Sony-BMG, Universal Music & the independent labels: MVP Records & New Records among numerous others.
Rene Rodriguez / CCO
A seasoned business developer and business manager with more than 18 years of experience, Mr. Rodriguez has acted as CEO, General Manager and Marketing Director of a couple of organizations prior to becoming part of the Nevarez Communications, Inc. upper management team. Prior to joining Nevarez Communications, Mr. Rodriguez was the General Manager of the Florida, Caribbean, Central, and South American Region for Woolpert, Inc., a large Consulting firm with more than 90 years in the market. Mr. Rodriguez was responsible of coordinating operations within his region and was responsible for setting the business strategy, and developing the business, within the Florida, Caribbean, Central and South American territories.
As COO of Nevarez Communications he brings years of experience in structuring and executing strategic business plans for both economic and organizational growth. He is also in charge of new business development strategies, which result in the implementation of new service verticals within the corporation.
Mr. Rodriguez is an expert in structuring complex business models to develop, strategize an implement large scale events, Talent Management teams, and product development plans. With years of experience in business development, marketing, and complex contract negotiations, Mr. Rodriguez brings a wealth of knowledge in the development and implementation of the product, event and talent marketing lifecycle.
