MIAMI, FL, 20 de enero de 2010 – Una vez más Carlos Pérez y Elastic People hacen mancuerna con Daddy Yankee para lograr un video musical innovador y provocativo que se aparta de todos los esquemas del género urbano. Este miércoles 20 de enero se estrena en el ámbito internacional “Grito mundial”, del nuevo disco del cantante puertorriqueño.
Pérez dirigió la secuencia fílmica entre Argentina y Brasil durante tres días el pasado mes de noviembre. El estadio “La Bombonera”, en Buenos Aires, se convirtió en el escenario donde el intérprete urbano hizo despliegue de su dominio ante una audiencia en vivo. La producción obtuvo el visto bueno para filmar durante el intermedio de un partido entre los clubes Boca Juniors y Chacarita.
El equipo de trabajo consistió de unos 150 miembros que unieron esfuerzos entre Puerto Rico, los Estados Unidos, Argentina y Brasil, donde se realizó la segunda parte del rodaje de “Grito mundial” en la favela Tavares Bastos.
“El ‘Grito mundial’ presenta diferentes culturas entrelazadas a través de la música y el fútbol. Es una iniciativa refrescante y atrevida para la música urbana. Yankee quiso visuales ricos en cultura que presentaran el mensaje de unión del tema”, explicó Pérez sobre el video del primer sencillo oficial del disco Daddy Yankee Mundial, del que también realizará la identidad visual.
“El video llega a lugares nunca antes explorados por el reggaetón como Brasil. Los jóvenes de la favela en Río de Janeiro sabían muy bien quién era Daddy Yankee, lo que comprueba su responsabilidad como un artista global”.
Carlos Pérez, al frente de su agencia boutique Elastic People, ha logrado abarcar diferentes áreas del diseño logrando siempre un producto provocativo y diferente.
